Durham Park and Ride

Routes

There are 3 Durham Park and Ride sites at convenient locations on the outskirts of Durham City; these are located at Belmont, Sniperley and Howlands Park. Each site has free parking for up to 400 cars and is open from 7am to 7pm, from Monday to Saturday.


The Durham Park and Ride routes are colour coded, and can be seen on the map below:

  • Belmont Route (Green): Milburngate Bridge East side, Milburngate, County Hall, University Hospital.
  • Sniperley Route (Red): University Hospital, County Hall, Milburngate, Claypath (Millennium Place).
  • Howlands Park Route (Blue): New Elvet, Milburngate Bridge East side, Milburngate, Leazes Road Underpass, New Elvet .
